What is Mall Tycoon?
Mall Tycoon is a real-time business strategy game about one city block grid and the shoppers walking across it. You start with a plot of land and a small shop. Fifteen minutes later either your name is on the biggest mall in the city or somebody else took your customers.
The city has a fixed crowd, split by what people came out for: food, shopping, fun, luxury and fitness. There is no growth button. Every customer you win is a customer another shop lost, which is what turns a building game into a fight.
It runs in any modern browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer. There is nothing to install and nothing to pay.
What makes a match
- A fixed customer pool. Price, place, shop level, popularity and campaigns decide who serves it.
- Land that reprices under you when a transport hub or a landmark is announced nearby.
- Four AI rivals with habits you can read: the Discount King, the Luxury Boss, the Expansion Guy, the Food King.
- Real multiplayer for up to 8 players over a room code or a scanned QR code.
- A final rush: the last two minutes double the traffic and decide most matches.
- Company value, not cash, wins. What you built counts as much as what you banked.
One block, five kinds of shopper
Every shop in the catalogue serves one appetite. A burger counter and a jeweller are not competing, but two burger counters on the same street are, and the one with the shorter queue and the better price takes the crowd.
